10.30am ACST (NT/SA)
9am AWST (WA)
Funded by Conquering Chronic Illness & TICNA Inc groups, this class is aimed towards those of us who struggle to get up and about which is why we've designed this practice for you to join from the comfy support of your chair, couch or even from bed.
The session provides an hour of respite for your nervous system; introducing a wide variety of physical & mental practices to guide your transition from "fight or flight" into "rest & digest" healing mode. Blending breath work, EFT Tapping, brain retraining, lymphatic stimulation, Qi Gong, self massage, visualisations and meditation techniques together with gentle movement.
This practice will help you gradually increase your physical mobility & strength in a very gentle way specifically tailored to those who struggle with Post Exertional Malaise.
The session provides a nurturing space for constructive discussion & positive connection with others in our beautiful healing community. Weekly topics encourage a sharing of life hacks, helpful resources & much more.
Join us from the comfort & support of your chair, couch or bed, and you'll be guided to feel better even if you can't physically participate in the exercises.
This session is facilitated by Amelie Becher, an advocate within our healing community who shares a wealth of knowledge around what has worked to gradually increase her own physical capacity after being predominantly bed bound with ME/CFS, CIRS, Lyme, physical injury and various other conditions in the past.
We recommend also joining the CCI/TICNA email list to be notified of further free programs such as this. To do so please email Peter Owen info@conqueringchronicillness.org
